Design Services Many companies believe "design services" are simply
picking out colors and seating. A properly designed
home theater involves much, much more. Proper
seating distances, sight lines, acoustics, and
even the equipment choices are very much a
part of a well-designed theater. Each of these
interact with each other and need equal
consideration. An easy analogy is buying tires for
your car. The wheel size, offset, and fender
clearance all play equal parts in purchasing the
correct tire.
We do not subscribe to standard "cookie cutter"
theater designs since no two rooms are the same.
We use computer modeling combined with our
real-life knowledge and experience to create the
best environment for your room and budget. Our
designer will work with you and/or your designer to
ensure not only a wonderful looking theater, but one
that considers the proper seating distances,
acoustics, and imaging considerations.

a remodeling project or basement (terrace level for you
designers) build-out. If you have a builder or remodeler
you are comfortable with, we will gladly work with them
and coordinate our efforts to smoothly complete your

What is speech recognition? According to Wikipedia; "Speech recognition (in many contexts also known as automatic speech recognition, computer speech recognition or erroneously as voice recognition) is the process of converting a speech signal to a set of words, by means of an algorithm implemented as a computer program. Speech recognition applications that have emerged over the last years include voice dialing (e.g., Call home), call routing (e.g., I would like to make a collect call), simple data entry (e.g., entering a credit card number), and preparation of structured documents (e.g., a radiology report)."
We can take these technologies and automate your computer to complete your tasks. We can take voice, speaker or speech pattern recognition and make an entirely different menu of tasks for your spouse or child.
Again according to Wikipedia; "Speaker recognition, voice recognition, or voice authentication is the task of recognizing people from their voices. Such systems extract features from speech, model them and use them to recognize the person from his/her voice.
Note that there is difference between voice recognition (recognizing who is speaking) and speech recognition (recognizing what is being said).
Speaker recognition has a history dating back some four decades, where the output of several analog filters was averaged over time for matching. Speaker recognition uses the acoustic features of speech that have been found to differ between individuals. These acoustic patterns reflect both anatomy (e.g., size and shape of the throat and mouth) and learned behavioral patterns (e.g., voice pitch, speaking style). This incorporation of learned patterns into the voice templates (the latter called ("voiceprints") has earned speaker recognition its classification as a "behavioral biometric." Speaker recognition systems employ three styles of spoken input: text-dependent, text-prompted and textindependent. Most speaker verification applications use text-dependent input, which involves selection and enrollment of one or more voice passwords. Text-prompted input is used whenever there is concern of imposters. The various technologies used to process and store voiceprints includes hidden Markov models, pattern matching algorithms, neural networks, matrix representation and decision trees. Some systems also use "anti-speaker" techniques, such as cohort models, and world models.
Ambient noise levels can impede both collection of the initial and subsequent voice samples. Performance degradation can result from changes in behavioral attributes of the voice and from enrollment using one telephone and verification on another telephone. Voice changes due to aging also need to be addressed by recognition systems. Many companies market speaker recognition engines, often as part of large voice processing, control and switching systems. Capture of the biometric is seen as non-invasive. The technology needs little additional hardware by using existing microphones and voice-transmission technology allowing recognition over long distances via ordinary telephones (wire line or wireless)."
